i-SPY: Nike + takes personalisation to a new level

Personalisation is set to be one of the standout marketing trends of 2015 and  Nike have already raised the bar and set a gold standard for other brands to follow with their Outdo You campaign.

Using data gathered via their motivational personal fitness app Nike +, they’ve created and sent out personal films to 100,000 users encouraging them to beat their 2014 achievements and goals in 2015.


The beautifully animated black and white films place runners in familiar settings showing local landmarks as well as featuring their own running stats.

They’ve also created some generic versions including this one featuring cumulative Nike + data from last year.

This is a really clever personal touch from Nike and individual films are bound to be widely shared through personal media so look out for them.  Nike + users need only log in to see if they’ve made the cut for one of the personalised films.

According to Nike, 2014 was just a warm up!
