On 24th October 2014 Line Up were appointed to design and deliver a stand for Microsoft at the Embedded World Fair, in Nuremberg, Germany from 24th -26th February 2015.

Having successfully just completed the job here is an overview of the objective and solution we provided.

With 902 exhibitors from 37 countries and over 25,500 visitors, this three-day trade fair is a ‘Who’s who’ in the field of embedded system technology.  Microsoft, as the technology provider, required a striking presence for their embedded partners to show-off their latest products and provide a convivial space meet with industry peers, promote IoT (the Internet of your Things) and network.

Line Up were given a 12 x 12.5m footprint and designed a stand incorporating partner working stations, a meeting room, product display area, bar and kitchen with storage area.

The open space was unified by a 12 metre diameter, 360° canopy that created the desired distance branding and displayed bold graphics.  The meeting room was centrally located and partner working stations were created around the outside of the stand, each one tailored slightly to the specific partner’s requirements.  An almost 4m device wall displayed 20 products and created a great focal and talking point. The bar created a social hub and footfall was constantly busy.

Line Up delivered a multifunctional space serving over 13 Microsoft partners; whilst keeping the look clean and bold to stand out in a very busy market place.

Below are some pics of the stand after completion of build and during the busy show.
