Indesit Company celebrates in style in London

Posted by: Line Up on May 11th, 2011 IN Conferences

In January, Crane’s Eye View revealed our excitement at being appointed for the 5th consecutive year to manage every aspect of the annual Indesit product launch. We’re particularly excited to be involved this year as it’s the 100th birthday of the Hotpoint brand and so the event will mark this momentous occasion, inviting around 1,000 guests to celebrate over a 4 day period. It’s all kicking-off this week at various venues around London including the Grafton Hotel, Quaglino’s Restaurant and Victoria House Basement in Bloomsbury. We can’t wait to bring you the pictures and much, much more news on this READ MORE

There’s no better way to start the New Year than by cementing a 20 year working relationship with a landmark commission. So Crane’s Eye View is delighted to reveal that Indesit Company UK has appointed us to manage the unveiling of its new product range to over 800 dealers at a week long event in May. This will mark the fifth consecutive year that Line Up has successfully pitched for this annual launch event but this year’s is particularly prestigious. In 2011 Indesit Company will be celebrating the 100th year of the Hotpoint brand and we will be planning a READ MORE

The Line Up trophy cabinet keeps growing…

Posted by: Line Up on November 4th, 2010 IN Awards

We’re thrilled to have won the Best International Event category at last week’s UK Event Awards held in Manchester. We took the gong for Shaping the Future, the 2008 global dealer launch of the Volvo XC60. This nine-week experiential launch immersed 5,600 Volvo dealers from 32 countries in a two-day programme in Gothenburg, Sweden.  We transformed a derelict 30,000 sq ft warehouse into a 3-floor experiential discovery zone, including four custom-built apartments where dealers could immerse themselves in the lifestyles and interests of target customers.  The highlight of the event was a custom-built urban obstacle course that gave dealers hands-on READ MORE

Last night saw us adding to our trophy cabinet at the Field Marketing & Brand Experience Awards. Elevation, an event produced by Line Up for Indesit Company won a total of 3 awards. We were thrilled to take home silvers in categories for Best Product Launch and Most Immersive Brand Event (by invitation). But, our true victory was in the special category for events that have produced outstanding returns on investment. Thanks to the fact that Indesit earned £12 in sales for every £1 spent on creating Elevation, despite a last minute budget cut of 25%, the event earned Indesit READ MORE

Change of Season

Posted by: Line Up on August 31st, 2010 IN Awards

Summer is fading fast and even though we seem to be enjoying a few more balmy days, we can’t ignore the fact that the nights are drawing in and Autumn is approaching. In the events industry, this means that we are also approaching awards season, the time when we dig out our glad rags and stick our creative necks on the line, waiting to see whether we have pipped our nearest and dearest competitors to the post at various awards ceremonies. We’re therefore chuffed to have been nominated as finalists in all of the categories that we have entered in READ MORE

Those of you who read our blog, Trouble in Paradise (posted on 9/7), will know that many of us have been spending a lot of time in Cascais recently, working with Volvo to introduce more than 5,500 dealers from all over the world to the fabulous new S60 at the famous Estoril track. In fact, we’re going to be perfecting our Portuguese for a while longer as taking this many dealers through the S60 experience in 36 market groups will keep us busy until the end of the Summer. Before we bring you details of the entire event, here’s a READ MORE

Trouble in paradise

There are worse places in the world to spend the summer than Cascais, Portugal. It’s hit 40 degrees several times in the past two weeks and it’s not merely that rain is unlikely; its possible impact on the daily routine – even its very existence – is barely contemplated. I’m cycling to and from work as much as possible. The morning slog uphill and against the wind can be challenging after a late finish the night before but it’s more than compensated for by the delightful freewheel homewards. A meander down through the suburbs with an Atlantic vista in the READ MORE
