Well, I say grueling, but whilst the 7 teams were battling it out in the open seas I popped back to Blighty to celebrate Christmas on dry land. i-SPY: Asics honours New York Marathon Runners

The infamous New York Marathon took place on the 1st of this month and Asics, the training shoe brand, renowned for its clever marketing around marathons, has outdone itself in winning the hearts and minds of runners and their supporters. It asked registered runners to supply front and side head shots of themselves and, with the help of a team of 3-D artists, turned them into printable 3D files, creating miniature statues of each runner. Entry was capped at 500 runners and the statues were hugely oversubscribed which is testimony to the association that the brand has already earned itself READ MORE
